  • Là phần mềm chạy trên máy dùng để thông dịch commands.

• Terminals

  • Xưa là thiết bị vật lý, giờ là phần mềm giả lập.
  • Khi mở terminal thì sẽ chạy shell mặc định.
  • Shell sẽ load config, profile files, set environment variables, hiển thị promt chờ người dùng gõ command.
  • Khi gõ lệnh thì shell sẽ check xem là alias > buit-in shell command -> path.
  • Nếu command không phải là path /bin/sh thì sẽ tìm trong PATH.
